Fiona Graham-Mackay
Fiona Graham-Mackay's celebrated portrait of Lord Carrington was selected for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters 2008 Spring Show. Following that success, and in contrast to the elegance of a Buckinghamshire manor house, FG-M was off to the Pakistan-Afghanistan borders. From the so-called badlands and the undertones of Chitral and Peshawar, FG-M has produced a collection of drawings and paintings that defy the news image of a war-torn and politically wounded state. |
